Leeds Voices Co-investigator, Elisabetta Adami, has been invited to present at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, 20-21 June 2016 in Göttingen, Germany.

Elisabetta will discuss her work on multimodality and Leeds Kirkgate Market at the Symposium: Translanguaging and repertoires across signed and spoken languages: Insights from linguistic ethnographies in (super)diverse contexts.

Presenting within the theme "Everyday Translanguaging in Superdiverse Cities" on 21 June, Elisabetta's talk examines: 'The potential of multimodal analysis for mapping superdiverse sign-making practices: The case of Leeds Kirkgate Market'.
